OVERLORD is a horror film, set during World War II, in which US paratroopers discover the results of secret Nazi experiments.

Violence

There are frequent scenes in which people are shot and stabbed, accompanied by blood spurts. There are also scenes in which people are repeatedly beaten. There is a scene in which a man is hung up by a large hook through his chest, which also features bloody injury detail.

Injury detail

There are several gory images, including a scene featuring a smashed head and a scene showing a man with most of his face blown away.

There are also multiple uses of strong language ('f**k'). There are a couple of scenes in which a woman is sexually assaulted but which lack detail due to the intervention of men who save her from further sexual violence.
