ONE CHANCE is a UK comedy drama based on the life of TV talent show competitor Paul Potts.

Language

There are a number of uses of moderate bad language, including a woman telling her boyfriend, "Don't be a prick". There is also some milder bad language (eg 'tosser', 'bloody', 'bollocks', 'screw', 'piss', 'bugger', 'arse', 'shit') and a use of the rude 'middle finger' gesture. Occasionally Paul is mocked and called 'fat' by negatively presented characters. There is also one homophobic remark, which is made by an unsympathetic character.

Sex

In terms of sex references, Paul asks a friend "Did you shag a horse?", and Paul's friend says "Maybe I'll grow a third hand so I can surf online and wank at the same time". These references occur within a light-hearted context.

There is also occasional violence and threat, including Paul being chased by a gang and a man kicking Paul as he tries to steal money from him. There are scenes showing Paul in hospital after a crash, and a scene in which a depressed Paul drinks alcohol. There is also a brief 'wedding night' scene in which Paul's bride unbuttons his shirt before they kiss.
