OMG - OH MY GOD! is a subtitled Hindi language comedy in which an atheist who sells religious statues and curios loses his shop and entire stock in a freak storm. When his insurance company refuse to pay out for what they consider an 'Act of God', the man decides to sue God in the Mumbai High Court. The film is rated PG for infrequent mild language and slapstick violence.
The film includes the Hindi language equivalent of the word 'bastard' (translated as 'rascal' in the English subtitles). There are two scenes of slapstick violence, including slaps to the faces of male characters. The violence is comic in nature and the slaps do not result in injury.
OMG - OH MY GOD! also includes an entirely positive portrayal of the god Krishna in the form of a strapping superhero-like young man in modern dress. However, the film does attack the commercialisation of religion and the wealth amassed by temples and by the gurus and holy men and women that run them.
PG stands for Parental Guidance. A PG film should not disturb a child aged around eight or older. However, parents are advised to consider whether the content may upset younger or more sensitive children.
