OMAR is a Palestinian drama about a young man who is forced to work as an informant for the Israeli military.

Violence

There are scenes of strong violence, including a torture scene in which the main character is chained up, naked, and then beaten. He is hit in the face several times and there is some bloody injury detail. A lighter flame is held towards his crotch, but the burning is not seen. Other violence includes a couple of shootings with bloody aftermath, a man strangling another before letting him go, and a knife being held to a man's throat.

Language

The film contains six uses of strong language ('f**k' and 'motherf**ker').

There is also some buttock nudity, references to a woman being turned into a 'whore', and scenes in which characters smoke.
