OCULUS is a US supernatural horror film in which a young woman sets out to prove that a large antique mirror is responsible for a series of violent deaths, including her own parents.

Violence

Strong bloody violence includes a man being stabbed in the neck with a shard of glass and a woman being shot in the stomach with a revolver.

Threat

There is strong supernatural threat and horror throughout. Demonic ghouls with shining eyes feature in several scenes.

There are two quietly muttered uses of apparent strong language ('f**k'). There is also some mild bad language, including use of 'damn', 'god', 'goddamn', 'hell' and 'shit'.
