NAVAJO JOE is a Western, from 1966, in which a Native American takes on the bandits who murdered his tribe.

Violence

Scenes of strong violence include stabbings, shootings and scalpings. In one scene, the hero uses a knife to carve up an enemy's forehead. There is also a scene of torture in which the hero is whipped.

Discriminatory terms such as 'red skin' are used to describe Native American characters, but not condoned by the work as a whole.
