THE NANNY is a US horror film in which a sinister woman is hired as a nanny for two problematic children.

Threat

Scenes include a teenage girl being pursued by a man armed with a rifle and briefly contained in a cage, supernatural events featuring fantastical creatures, and a woman using magic. A girl believes she is turning into a fairy and discovers a strange growth on her shoulder. In one sequence a girl finds herself in a cabin in which injured fairies writhe on the ground and a dead body is hanging from the rafters. However, there is no strong detail and scenes of threat are not prolonged or intense.

Violence

A teenage girl hits a man with a wrench, and a man is stabbed below screen with brief sight of blood on his hand after he touches the wound.

Language is mild ('crap').
