MY LITTLE PONY - EQUESTRIA GIRLS is a feature length animated story about a princess pony who must travel to the human world to retrieve her stolen crown. It is rated U and contains very mild language and threat

A brief scene of very mild threat shows a shadowy creature entering a room at night to steal the princess pony's crown. However, neither the princess nor her friend are scared and they chase after the intruder. In another scene, a girl turns into a winged villain with smoking red eyes who threatens the princess, but the princess and her friends use the 'magic of friendship' to defeat the villain. Any threat is set within a very positive moral framework, in a film that teaches the value of friendship.

There is one use of 'bummer', used as en expression of regret.

U stands for Universal, which means that we think the film is suitable for audiences aged four or older.
