MY COUSIN RACHEL is a British drama based on the novel by Daphne du Maurier in which a young man becomes besotted with his widowed cousin.

Language

There is infrequent use of strong language ('f**k'). Milder bad language includes 'bloody', 'shit', 'God' and 'damn'.

Sex

There is a brief scene of sex as a clothed man thrusts on top of a clothed woman in the woods. Afterwards the woman wipes herself clean, hidden by her skirts, before discarding the tissue.

There are also verbal sex references including comments suggesting a woman has a voracious sexual appetite and that a man 'likes boys'.

Other issues include some mild threat as a man nearly falls from a crumbling cliff path. The body of a woman and her horse are seen on the beach from a great distance after they have fallen from the path.
