MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING is a contemporary adaptation of Shakespeare's comedy romance. It is rated 12A for moderate sex and implied drug use.

There are some sex scenes, one of which shows a man's hand moving beneath a sheet as a woman murmurs with pleasure. Another scene shows a couple rocking together in silhouette. There is no detail beyond a discreet suggestion of sexual activity.

The film also contains a brief scene showing a woman smoking what appears to be a roll-up cigarette. She then offers the cigarette to another character, who also smokes it. There is an implication that this may be a marijuana joint, although the scene does not glamourise drug misuse and the cigarette or joint is thrown away without further comment.

MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING also contains some mild violence, some mild bad language (eg 'bastard'), and some mild sex references.

No-one younger than 12 may see a 12A film in a cinema unless accompanied by an adult. No-one younger than 12 may rent or buy a 12 rated video or DVD
