Note: The following text may contain spoilers

MR. PEABODY & SHERMAN is an animated film in which a boy, a girl and a dog travel back in time to significant historical events.

Violence

Mild comic violence includes a slapstick battle between Greeks and Trojans, and an 18th century Frenchman being tasered by a police officer in modern New York City. There is no blood or injury detail.

Threat

There are a number of scenes of mild threat, although these are always quickly and reassuringly resolved and balanced by comedy. In one scene, a character is taken to the guillotine during the French Revolution. However, when the blade drops, half a melon is found in the basket, rather than a head.

Language

There is infrequent very mild bad language, including uses of 'booby', 'butt' and 'darn'.
