THE MOUNTAIN LODGE is a Polish language thriller in which a father and son's adventure to a small mountain cabin becomes a struggle for survival.

Violence

There is strong bloody violence when a man repeatedly beats a young man's face.

Language

There is strong language ('motherf**ker' and 'f**k'). There are also uses of 'bitch', 'shit', 'bastards', 'son of a bitch', 'ass', 'damn', 'crap', 'hell'. Uses of discriminatory language ('fag' and 'faggot') and not endorsed by the film.

Threat

There is sustained threat when teenage brothers are stuck in a cabin with a criminal who tries to kill them.

In one scene, a deer is run over, with sight of blood on its stomach. A man kills the animal off-screen.
