MORTDECAI is a crime comedy about an art dealer who is forced to embark on an international escapade in order to locate a lucrative painting.
- Language
There is a single use of strong language ('f**k'), as well as frequent use of moderate and mild bad language, such as 'bitch', 'bugger', 'bloody', 'bastard', 'balls', 'Jesus', 'God', 'Christ', 'hell' and 'sod'.
- Sex
There are moderate sex references and innuendo throughout, including to genitalia, orgasms and adult films, as well as brief sight of a bulge inside a man's trousers. There is a scene in which a topless woman is sitting on top of a man in bed, although there is no nudity, and sexual activity is only implied.
- Violence
There are scenes of moderate violence, such as when a man is threatened with having his finger cut off. There is also implied torture when a man threatens characters with electrocution. Throughout, there are frequent moments of comic slapstick in which characters are punched and slapped.
