MOON DOGS is a British comedy drama in which two step-brothers fall in love with the same woman while travelling from Shetland to Glasgow.

Language

There is occasional use of strong language ('f**k', 'motherf**ker'), as well as more moderate terms including 'bitch', 'cock', 'prick' and 'dick'.

Sex

Sex scenes include thrusting, implied masturbation and the application of a condom. There are also occasional moderate sex references and brief buttock nudity.

A young man adds unnamed substances to a bottle of drink and consumes it, instigating a surreal 'trip'. The misuse of drugs is not glamorised or condoned. There is also infrequent moderate violence, including a fistfight and a sequence in which a man's piercings are quickly pulled out, resulting in sight of blood but no strong injury detail. In one scene a young man is briefly threatened with a claw hammer, causing him to urinate involuntarily through fear.
