MONSTER ISLAND is an animated film for children in which a young boy travels to 'Monster Island' in search of his roots.
- Violence
The mild violence is of the bashing and zapping variety, more often than not involving monsters. In one scene scratches are seen on a monster's chest; otherwise there is no blood or injury detail. Occasionally characters strapped to a table are zapped with electricity. These scenes, however, are examples of Frankenstein-like scientific experiments as opposed to torture.
- Threat
Scenes of mild threat include a boy being chased by monsters, none of which are particularly threatening.
There is very mild bad language, including uses of 'God', 'hell', 'moron', 'screwed' and 'screwing'. One scene includes mild innuendo when character says to another, "I'd love to do favours for her".
