MOLLY'S GAME is a US drama in which an injured sportswoman turns to running high-stakes poker games.

Language

There is use of strong language ('f**k', 'motherf**ker'), as well as milder terms such as 'dick', 'bitch' and 'Jesus Christ'. A black character suspects that an unlikeable white character used the term 'nigger'.

Drugs

The main character misuses multiple drugs (including Adderall and 'coke') to stay awake. She develops an addiction which has a negative impact on her life.

Violence

A man attacks a woman in her home and beats her heavily, with some bloody injury detail.

There are detailed images of open spinal surgery: bone is seen through bloody tissue.

Characters are addicted to gambling. One of these is reported to have taken his own life by hanging.

There are references to prostitution, and rape in prison.
