MIRRORS is a US remake of a Korean supernatural horror film, in which a man discovers that mirrors create a dangerous alternate reality after he takes on a security job in a burnt out department store.
- Threat
The narrative creates a sustained level of personalised threat, not only to the protagonist but also his family. There is a sequence in which a child almost drowns while another almost has her throat cut by a mirror image of her mother.
- Violence
There are occasional gory moments, including a sequence in which a character slowly cuts their own neck with a shard of glass, causing a substantial blood spurt, and another in which the mirror image of a woman shows her pulling apart her own jaws, bisecting her face by partially removing her lower jaw.
There is occasional use of strong language.
