THE MIMIC is a South Korean horror thriller in which a woman takes in a young girl she finds in the mountains, who may have some link with a mythical creature which mimics the voices of humans.

Threat

Multiple scenes of supernatural threat including invisible forces attacking, abducting or scaring people. There is sight of dead people foaming at their mouths.

Violence

There is a bloody shamanic ritual. A girl is placed inside a pot from which she cannot escape. A woman is seen tied up and bloody in the boot of a car before being bricked into a hole whilst still alive.

Injury detail

A bleeding head wound is shown in detail, a child's back is seen bloody and bruised, and a dead dog is seen with blood pumping out of a shotgun wound.

There is in infrequent moderate bad language ('bitch').
