A MILLION WAYS TO DIE IN THE WEST is a comedy Western about a cowardly sheep farmer who is hunted down by a ruthless outlaw.

Language

There are over fifty uses of strong language (‘f**k’), some in a sexual sense. Other bad language includes uses of ‘shit’, ‘crap’, ‘jerk’, ‘son of a bitch’, ‘douche’, ‘ass’, ‘asshole’, ‘Jesus’, ‘dick’ and ‘whore’.

Sex

The film contains crude comic sex references, which include comments and visual jokes about prostitution, masturbation, oral sex, anal sex, ejaculation and sexual organs.

Violence

The film contains parodies of the kind of violence found in Western films, such as saloon bar brawls and gunfights. Some of the violence is strong, with arm-breaks, stabbings with broken bottles, and bullet impacts causing blood spurts, but there is no dwelling on detail or bloody injury.

The film contains scenes of drug use, with a character consuming a ‘pot cookie’ and then a hallucinogenic potion as part of a ritual with a Native American tribe. There are also jokes based on discriminatory references to black slaves and Chinese labourers. The film also contains crude humour about bodily functions.
