MIDNIGHT IN PARIS is a romantic comedy drama, focussing on the deteriorating relationship of an American couple who visit Paris.

Sex

There is occasional dialogue related to sexual activity, such as when a character refers to the subject of a painting as being a "whore with colossal appetites". In another scene we learn that a character hired a prostitute in order to learn the 'tricks' of her trade, while her friend reveals that he could never resist "cheap sex".

There are scenes of smoking by glamorous characters. However, these moments occur within a historical and fantasy scenario rather than a realistic one.

There is use of very mild language, including uses of 'Jesus Christ' and 'God'.

In one sequence, a character briefly contemplates suicide, but is quickly talked out of it with no further dwelling on the potential act.

Brief drug references include a scene in which a character makes a brief sarcastic comment that in his experience "people measure out their lives with coke spoons".
