MIDNIGHT is a US romantic comedy, from 1939, about an American showgirl in Paris who is hired by a wealthy count to break up his wife's affair with another man.

Violence

The film contains a couple of mild comedy punch ups. In one, a taxi driver is bashed over the head, resulting in a small patch of blood. However, there is no sight of injury.

Language

There is a use of 'jackass'.

There are also scenes of smoking, reflecting the age of the film.
