MATTHEW BOURNE'S CINDERELLA is a recording of a ballet performance of the fairy tale, staged at Sadler's Wells, and set in London in 1940.

Violence

In one scene a man is kicked by two other men as he lies on the ground. In another scene a woman attempts to smother another woman to death with a pillow; however, she is interrupted and the woman survives the attack.

Threat

There is a scene in which a man is subjected to electro-shock treatment; however, there is limited detail.

Sex

In one scene a man and a woman dance provocatively before kissing on a bed.

Some scenes show buildings being bombed and victims lying dead or injured. However, there is limited detail and the scenes are highly stylised.
