MARY SHELLEY is a period drama, based on fact, which concerns the love affair between Percy Shelley and Mary Wollstonecraft Godwin.

Sex

There is a brief sex scene in which a woman rides a man. However, there is no strong detail.

The film also contains some sex references, including one referring to a "menage a trois".

Drugs

In one scene a man inhales a drug through a tube and is subsequently shown behaving in an excitable manner whilst under the influence of the drug.

There is a brief scene in which man forcefully attempts to kiss a struggling woman.

There are some references to the death of an infant. These include a scene in which the mother dreams that she has restored the dead child to life.

The film also includes a scene in which a woman dreams that a man reanimates a corpse; this is indicated by brief movement of the corpse's limbs.

There is also mild bad language (for example, 'whoremonger', 'bloody', 'God'), and scenes in which adults smoke pipes.
