MARGUERITE is a subtitled French drama about a wealthy woman with unwarranted delusions of being a talented opera singer.

Sex

There is a single sex scene in which a man briefly but vigorously thrusts into a woman as she lies on her back on a table. Both characters are fully clothed.

There are strong verbal sex references, including to oral sex.

Nudity

There is brief sight of black and white photographs of naked people in a 1920s era erotic magazine.

Other issues include infrequent strong language ('f**k'), a scene in which a young man puffs on an opium pipe, and a scene in which a gamekeeper begins to remove the oesophagus from a recently killed deer.
