MANITHAN is a Tamil language drama about a young lawyer fighting against a corrupt court system to win justice for the victims of a tragic accident.

Violence

Moderate violence includes a scene in which a character is beaten up by several men. He is punched, kicked, thrown through a window and has a cable is pulled around his throat.

Injury detail

There are some bloody images in the aftermath of a road traffic accident, with blood visible on the clothes and possessions of victims. One man's leg is run over. The bodies of the victims are also seen in a hospital corridor with some blood on clothes.

Other issues include mild bad language, including use of 'bloody' and 'dammit'. There are also mild sex references, including comments about prostitution. There is a reference to sexual violence when a man reports that a woman was raped and murdered.
