THE MAN WHO SAVED THE WORLD is a documentary about Stanislav Petrov, a Russian officer who averted a nuclear holocaust in 1983.

Language

There is a single use of very strong language ('c**t') used in reference to a character who is off-screen at the time. There is also occasional use of strong language ('f**k').

There are infrequent scenes of moderate threat in which nuclear missiles en route to Russia are spotted by an early warning detection system, which if real would mean the beginning of World War Three. There are also some scenes depicting archive footage of the World Trade Center attacks in September 2001.
