A MAN CALLED OVE is a Swedish comedy drama in which an irascible man reluctantly befriends his neighbours.

Suicide

A man makes a series of suicide attempts before eventually finding new reasons to live.

There is infrequent use of strong language ('f**k'). Milder terms include 'shit', 'bullshit', 'bastard', 'arsehole', 'piss' and 'crap'. Other issues include a moderately intense scene depicting a traffic accident that results in mild bloody detail and non-graphic shots of dead bodies on the ground. A man is hit by a train, without graphic detail. A man punches another man in the face. There are infrequent discreet references to miscarriage. There are also occasional references to homophobic attitudes, but the film as a whole does not endorse homophobia.
