THE MAGUS is a British fantasy drama, from 1968, about an English teacher who encounters a mysterious local when he accepts a new job working on a Greek Island.
Scenes of moderate violence include shootings, with occasional bloody injury detail. Other moments include characters being slapped, and a man being struck over the head with a gun.
Moderate sex includes scenes in which characters caress and kiss in bed, with brief shots of breast nudity.
Mild bad language includes uses of 'bloody', 'hell' and 'damn'.
There are several verbal references to suicide.
