A group of characters use LSD, initially as part of a medical experiment, and later two characters are shown smoking marijuana.

Scenes include implied sexual intercourse and cunnilingus.

Suicide

In a flashback a character is shown cutting his throat with a brief resultant blood spurt. In one scene, a woman cuts her wrist before being transferred to a psychiatric institution.

There are infrequent scenes of moderate threat, including brief knife threat, and a sequence in which a man with a blow torch briefly threatens a baby but the child is saved and unharmed. In a scene of moderate violence, a woman with a bloodied shirt is seen falling to the floor after a brief fight with a man.
