MACGRUBER is a comedy action film about a secret agent who uses his dubious skill to outwit criminals, with typically disastrous results.
- Language
There is occasional use of strong language ('f**k'), and comic play on very strong language ('c**t') in the name of a character (Dieter Von Cunth).
- Sex
Strong sex occurs, including a sequence in which a man is having sex with a woman with accompanying dialogue such as "I'm gonna fill you up." There is sight of thrusting but all nudity is masked. There are also strong verbal sex references, including to oral sex.
- Violence
Scenes of comic bloody violence including sight of blood spurts during gunfights, and when characters have their throats ripped out. Injury detail is brief but detailed, and also includes in scene in which pliers are used to dig out a bullet from a wound in a character's leg.
