MAALIK is an Urdu language thriller about a private security company that protects a corrupt politician in a violent Pakistani city.

Violence

Characters are shown being hit by bullets, in slow motion, with resultant blood spurts. A character is beheaded, with sight of bloody injury.

Threat

There is a scene in which a man forces himself on a woman, grabbing her wrists and throwing her onto his bed. Although rape is not shown, the man is later seen lying topless in bed as the screaming woman flees the room.

There is use of mild bad language (eg 'bullshit', 'crap', 'shit').
