LOVING is a drama about a couple who challenged the State of Virginia's prohibition of interracial marriage during the 1960s.

Discrimination

A number of characters express racist views, reflective of the period and setting of the narrative. There is infrequent use of 'nigger', used once as a self-referential term by a black character, and once by a white man in a derogatory manner.

Occasional scenes of mild threat include police breaking into a couple's home at night, and a man's growing paranoia that his family are being threatened and he is being followed.

Two scenes show a woman in labour, with brief sight of some bloody water being disposed of.

There is infrequent use of mild bad language ('shit', 'ass').
