LOVE YOOU SONIYE is a subtitled Punjabi language romantic comedy, in which a young man becomes a cook in the family home of the woman he loves.

Language

Mild language includes the spoken term 'sala' and subtitled uses of, 'damn', 'god', 'hell' and 'shit'.

Violence

There are two brief fight sequences with punches and knee strikes, but there is no focus on blood or injury. After one fight, one of the participants has a very small cut on his cheek.

Sex

Mild innuendo includes reference to a husband's vow of celibacy and his wife adding what is presumed to be an aphrodisiac to his drink. During a song and dance number there is comic and undetailed sight of movement beneath sheets. In another scene a man is tricked into dressing in pink and is made to examine a banana through a magnifying glass in sight of other people. Other characters then make a gesture inferring that the man is gay. There is also a scene in which a woman claims to have been assaulted, although she is not telling the truth.
