Note: The following text may contain spoilers

LONDON ROAD is a musical, based on a stage production, about the impact of a series of murders of local women on the residents in the area.

Language

There are multiple uses of strong language ('f**k'). Milder bad language includes uses of 'bloody' and 'whore'.

Sex

There is one strong sex scene as a man finds a prostitute having sex with a client in the back of a car. The woman is seen kneeling on the front seat as the man thrusts into her from behind. There is no nudity.

There are strong verbal sex references when a journalist worries about not being able to use the word 'semen' during a broadcast and discusses alternatives including 'love juice', 'male bodily fluid' and 'boy juice'. There are also multiple references to prostitution.

Other issues include the theme of a serial killer preying on vulnerable women.

There are also references to drug taking as characters discuss wanting to abandon their addiction.

Many characters are seen to smoke cigarettes.
