LIGHTS OUT is a US horror film about a family being terrorised by a creature which only appears in the dark.

Threat

Strong supernatural threat throughout as various characters are chased and sometimes attacked by the creature in dark locations.

Injury detail

Bloody images include several dead bodies of people who have been killed by the creature, including someone whose eyes have apparently been gouged out. There is also a crime scene image of a room where a bloody cloth is covering the body of a man who has shot himself in the head after writing a message on the wall in blood.

Further issues include some moderate bad language, including the terms 'bitch' and 'shit', and a number of references to depression and mental health issues.
