LE PETIT NICOLAS - PETIT NICOLAS is a French language children's comedy drama about a young schoolboy who takes drastic action to avoid his parents having a sibling. It was classified 'PG' for mild comic violence.

There is a scene in which Nicolas and his school friends witness a shooting. A car drives up to a man as he leaves prison. As the car drives away the boys hear a shot and see the man slumped on the ground. Earlier in the film Nicolas imagines his father's face morphing into that of an evil goblin. Both these moments occur in the context of a light-hearted comedy based in the imaginative world of small boys. The BBFC's Guidelines at 'PG' state 'Moderate violence, without detail, may be allowed, if justified by its context (for example, history, comedy or fantasy)'.

The film includes some very mild bad language, including uses of 'Oh my God' (in both languages).
