Note: The following text may contain spoilers

L'AVVENTURA is an Italian mystery drama, from 1960, in which a woman's lover and her best friend become attracted to each other after she goes missing.

Sex

Mild sex references, including scenes in which clothed couples are shown lying down and passionately kissing, with the suggestion that this is a prelude to sex. There is also a scene in which the audience shares a man's point of view as he focuses on a rip in a woman's dress, revealing her thigh, stocking top and suspenders.

Further issues include a brief discussion of whether the missing woman is likely to have committed suicide, and some very mild bad language ('my God').
