L'AMANT DOUBLE is a French psychological drama in which a young woman falls in love with her male psychiatrist.

Sex

The film contains several strong sex scenes featuring male and female nudity. In one scene a woman wearing a sex toy penetrates a man.

There are several scenes of nudity. In one scene there is close-up sight of a woman's vagina as a gynaecologist inserts a speculum, whilst another shows an internal view of a woman's vagina whilst she has sex.

There is a scene in which a woman is beaten by a man and another in which a woman shoots a man, accompanied by a blood spurt.

The film also contains brief strong injury detail when a woman's stomach splits open and a small hand reaches out, and when a surgeon is briefly shown cutting into a woman's stomach.

There is strong language ('f**k), in addition to milder bad language (for example, 'cock', 'whore', 'twat', 'asshole', 'crap', 'tramp, 'hussy', 'hell').
