LAD - A YORKSHIRE STORY is a British drama set in the Yorkshire Dales in which a thirteen-year-old boy reacts badly to the unexpected death of his father and gets into trouble with the police.

Language

There are two uses of strong language ('f***ing'). There is also some use of milder bad language, including 'arse', 'bloody', 'bollocks', 'buggery', 'Christ', 'Jesus Christ', 'shit' and 'sodding'.

Sex

In one scene a youth shows his younger brother a soft-core pornographic magazine. There is brief sight of a topless female model on the front cover, although her nipples are masked by stars.

Cuts information

Company chose to remove brief images of sexualised nudity in a softcore pornographic magazine in order to achieve a 12A classification. Cuts made in accordance with BBFC Guidelines and policy. A 15 classification without cuts was available.
