LA GRANDE BOUFFE is a French-Italian drama about a group of middle-aged friends who decide to eat themselves to death at a luxurious villa.

Sex: There are a number of scenes of strong sex which include both nudity and detail such as thrusting and other sexual movement. Some of the sex is mixed with the desire to overeat to the point of death.

Other issues include scenes of a man farting and defecating until he dies and is left in a pool of brown liquid.

There are occasional uses of strong language ('f**k'). Milder bad language includes uses of 'shit'.

There are some images of dead bodies as characters pass away and are put into a cold storage unit.
