KILLER OF SHEEP is a drama about life in LA's Watts district in the 1970s.

Language

There are two muffled uses of strong language (‘f**k’), and some moderate bad language ('skag', 'bitch', 'mothersucker'). There are also a few uses of the word 'nigger', but they are jovial and self-referential and not intended as racist insults.

There are also a couple of scenes that take place in an abattoir, with sheep being killed and their carcasses hacked up. However, these scenes depict the real manner in which animals are slaughtered in abattoirs, with the kills occurring quickly and without prolonged cruelty.
