KILL LIST is a British film about two men who accept assignments to kill various targeted victims. It was classified '18' for very strong bloody violence.

In one scene, a male victim who appears to be involved in extreme criminality is tied to a chair, punched, and burnt with a cigarette. One of the two assassins subsequently produces a hammer and smashes the man's knee, hand and head until the man's skull shatters. In another scene, the same assassin repeatedly smashes a man's head against the wall and the dead man is seen with his face caved in and covered in blood. There is also a scene showing one of the assassins forced to fight a masked individual. He repeatedly stabs his opponent to death in a scene featuring close-ups of the knife penetrating the victim. These realistic and very bloody scenes exceed the terms of the BBFC's Guidelines at '15' which state 'Violence may be strong but should not dwell on the infliction of pain or injury. The strongest gory images are unlikely to be acceptable'. Given the sadism exhibited and the degree of detail shown, these scenes are more appropriately classified at '18'.

There is further strong violence in the film, including sight of people being shot with blood spurting from the wounds. There is also sight of a woman hanging herself during a ritualistic ceremony, showing he body jerking at the end of the rope. KILL LIST also features frequent strong language and two uses of very strong language, some strong verbal sex references, brief sight of sex magazine covers featuring images of sexualised nudity without strong detail, verbal drug references, and brief sight of dead animals.
