JUPITER ASCENDING is a science fiction action drama about a young woman, living an ordinary life, who discovers she is at the centre of a battle for power over the universe.

Violence

There are several scenes of moderate violence, with some accompanying threat, which include spaceship battles and characters fighting in hand-to-hand combat or using futuristic weapons. Some of these scenes are sustained and intense, but the focus is on the fast-paced action placed in a clearly fantastical science fiction setting, rather than on the detail of the violence. There are only occasional and brief bloody images seen in the aftermath of fights.

There is brief natural nudity with sight of a woman's bottom as she steps out of a bath. The film also contains mild bad language ('hell', 'God', 'damn', 'dammit', 'balls', 'shit', 'shitter', 'crap', 'bloody').
