Note: The following text may contain spoilers

JUDY MOODY AND THE NOT BUMMER SUMMER is a family film about a precocious young girl, Judy Moody, who is looking forward to school breaking up for the summer holidays. She intends to have the most thrilling summer ever but unfortunately some of her best friends have other plans.

Language

There is use of mild bad language ('crap').

In one scene, a tightrope is strung across a shallow stream, resulting in to girls falling into the water. In another scene, a girl and boy go to the cinema to watch a horror film. We see some of what they are watching, including sight of a woman screaming, an old man's eye popping out, and a zombie carrying a severed arm.

There is also some very mild toilet humour, in the form of references to 'elephant poop'.
