JEFF, WHO LIVES AT HOME is a comedy about a thirty year old man who still lives at home. The film was classified ‘15’ for strong language and drug use.

The BBFC's Guidelines at '12A'/'12' state 'The use of strong language (for example, 'fuck') must be infrequent'. JEFF, WHO LIVES AT HOME contains over thirty uses of strong language and therefore requires a '15' classification.

On drugs, the Guidelines at ‘15’ state ‘Drug taking may be shown but the film as a whole must not promote or encourage drug misuse’. Although there are scenes in which characters smoke cannabis, the film as a whole neither promotes nor encourages drug misuse.

JEFF, WHO LIVES AT HOME also contains some moderate sex references and one scene of moderate violence.
