JARHEAD 2: FIELD OF FIRE is a military drama which focuses on a marine team with a mission to protect a 'package' - a young woman from Afghanistan who is valuable to the US government.

Violence

Strong bloody violence is seen throughout the film, including blood spurts during gun battles. There is occasional focus on bodily injury, such as when a soldier lies screaming with part of his leg blown off after an explosion. There is a scene in which a soldier is blown to pieces as a grenade launcher is fired at him - pieces of his body fly through the air, but there's no clear sight of blood or bloody tissue. In another sequence a soldier brandishing a rock uses it to bash an enemy soldier's head, but any injury is completely obscured by the camera angle.

Language

Strong language ('f**k', 'motherf**ker') is present throughout.

Some threat is seen briefly as a female captive is threatened with a knife and punched by her captor; however, no harm comes to the woman. There are also occasional moderate sex references during dialogue between the soldiers.
