J'ACCUSE is a subtitled French language drama, from 1938, about a man who responds to the horrors of the Great War by creating a machine he hopes will prevent future wars.

Violence

There are dramatised images and stock footage of armies at war, including sight of a wounded man slowly dying in a muddy ditch.

There is sight of a man with a bloody head injury.

Disturbing images

There is sight of dead bodies on battlefields. At one point, the dead of Verdun come back to life and terrify the living. A man has an emotional breakdown.
