IT HAPPENED IN HOLLYWOOD is a US romantic drama, from 1937, in which the star of silent western films finds himself unemployed with the arrival of sound.

Violence

There is a brief fistfight in which men fall through furniture in a bar, although nobody is seriously hurt. Men are shot during a bank robbery, but there is no blood or injury detail.

Smoking

Scenes of smoking occur, reflecting the period in which the film was made and set. The smoking is not glamorised or explicitly promoted.

There is a passing use of the phrase 'Honest Injun', although it is not intended in a racially insensitive manner.
