I.O.U.S.A. is a US documentary that examines the country's growing national debt and its affect on its citizens.

There are occasional clips from new footage, including a still photograph of the Twin Towers during the September 11th 2001 attacks and some rockets being fired in Iran, although there is no sight of personalised injury throughout.

In one interview, a woman wears a T-shirt with an anti-drug message ('You don't need drugs to be a dope')

There is also a use of mild bad language in which a commentator describes US fiscal policies as 'totally screwed up'.
