THE INTERNSHIP (2013)

THE INTERNSHIP is a US comedy about two salesmen who lose their jobs and apply for internships at Google. The cinema version was rated 12A for moderate sex references. However, this 'extended version' is rated 15 for strong language and sex references.

This extended verison contains 16 uses of strong language ('f**k'), as well as some moderate and mild bad language (eg 'wanker', 'bitch', 'pussy', 'dick', 'shit', 'screw', 'piss', 'ass', 'hell', 'crap').

There are some strong verbal sex references, including to anal sex and ejaculation. These references are more explicit than the references that were present in the cinema version. There is also a scene in which the two central characters take their fellow interns to a strip club. Unlike the cinema version, which only showed women dancing in lingerie, this extended version features sexualised breast nudity.

At one point a fight breaks out, involving an exchange of blows, and there are other scenes in which men are punched in the stomachs. However, the violence is undetailed and generally comic.

Some scene show adults drinking alcohol, including shots being drunk in a nightclub. A hung over man is subsequently seen throwing up into a bin. There is a brief verbal drug reference and a rude hand gesture.

No-one younger than 15 may see a 15 rated film in the cinema. No-one younger than 15 may rent or buy a 15 rated video or DVD.
